Poor propane pressure control
This torch has a problem of staying lit (second one purchased , same problems). When the handle is squeezed, no matter how quickly or how much , it usually just blows the pilot flame out. Unless the propane tank is just barely opened or very low it is almost impossible to ignite the torch flame. Nice concept but poor design on propane control. Would try with a regulator but don't thing gas volume would be enough.

Great kit, terrible instructions
This is a good igniter kit but the instructions are terrible. They are for a different style breaker plate and tell you about shaft brace which is built onto the new style, you have to install the exciter wheel before you install the plate. There is nothing on the coil to identify it as needing a resistor or internally resisted, no part number to even check it. The lack of diagrams or even a parts list with the kit make it a hassle to figure out. Can be done but would be easier with proper instructions.
