I have a passion for music, music reproduction, recording, analog design, manufacturing and repair. I collect audio gear and own a small audio design, repair and restoration lab. I spent much of my adult life working as a broadcaster, audio engineer, technical engineer and (not my favorite) TV production and engineering. Wait, they wanted me on TV? I have to shave and wear a sports jacket? Uh, hard pass. I have an interest in metrology and all things RF. Every day was still a great day at work.

Excellent Quality at Value Pricing
I have used countless DIN connectors from countless manufacturers and vendors, all with wildly variable pricing. While looking on eBay for connectors I came across these. It is not easy to find 4-Pin DIN connectors that are (mostly) metal with locking ring and of good quality, especially under $10/each plus shipping. The connectors looked of good quality in the pictures and the pricing was very fair so I ordered a couple. These DIN connectors represent high-quality at a bargain price. I haven't found a comparable (current production) DIN connector this nice for under $10 each. The connector pins are easy to solder to, capable of aprx. 20AWG solid/stranded wire, includes internal cable strain relief and a soft, rubber (or possibly silicone) external strain gaurd. At this quality/price, buy more than you need. You won't regret it. I was impressed enough to order a handful more!

A good value for a good multimeter
Title says it all. A quality battery powered multimeter that is simple to work on and even more simple to use.
