Walking With Derleth
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich August Derleth was a personal friend of ours for years before his untimely death on July 4,1971. We had the privilege of going on walks with Mr. Derleth along and over the bluffs of the Wisconsin River near his hometown. We have many of his autographed books. However, this one was printed after his death, so when I discovered it in an eBay search, I knew I had to add it to our collection and bought it as a Christmas gift for my husband! Anyone who appreciates great compassionate stories would like this book and long to read more of his more than 100 published books, many of which have also been listed on eBay.

James Last Christmas Gift
I bought this CD as a Christmas Gift for my husband, who, like me is a born James Last fan! We were privileged to meet him at a concert in Trier a couple months before his death.

Not as Advertized!
"An apparently unread copy in perfect condition. Dust cover is intact; pages are clean and are not marred by notes or folds of any kind. At ThriftBooks, our motto is: Read More, Spend Less." This is what the description of the book said. It did NOT say that it was a library discard or that the library name along with the borrowers' card was still on the first page of the book. It was way down at the bottom of the description that said it was a Large Print Book. I bought this book as a birthday for my daughter─who does not need large print, and I did not want her to think that I thought she needed large print. I was able to cut out the front pages that had the library's name on it. The price was good, but your description was deceptive. I don't know if I'll give it to my daughter or not. It depends on whether I can find another copy elsewhere.
