Reasonably priced for a great model.
These little cars are absolutely beautiful. The detail is excellent, the paint and lettering excellent and they operate well. This is a car that has long been needed in HO scale, especially for those operating a New England or upstate New York layout. But they were also common in the Midwest on railroads like the C&NW and Soo Line so they have a wide appeal to modelers of pre-1970 railroads.

Title is informative regarding contents.
Very nice photographic coverage of this classic New England carrier, broken down by route. It avoids the Boston area and service to Maine, which are covered in another volume. Most of the photos are taken in the early diesel era when railroading was at it’s most colorful. The text and captions are quite informative.

I think I’ll order another one.
Detail is superb, painting is excellent. It’s cpmpact size makes it very useful for layout use. It’s a realistic car and like the other cars in this line I believe it’s a C&NW prototype model. But certainly a lot of railroads used sixty foot baggage-Express cars and RPO’s. The coachs are scale modes too, very useful for tight radius model curves, and based on commuter pool cars. I really like these models.
