Dealer Parts Are The Way Too Go.
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich 1992 Ford F350 460 w/E4OD 4x4. The overdrive switch on my truck stopped working a while ago. After some diagnosis it was found that the wires inside of my shifter assembly had broken apart inside the arm, which is why the overdrive switch failed to work. Bought the new shifter arm seen here, which is the arm with new harness inside, installed it, and the it works perfectly. I recommend this product as there is no aftermarket manufacturer to my knowledge that makes this arm.

Worked With My Application
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich The AMP works good. The instructions are easy to read, the bass boost controller is nice, and it is well put together. I have had it installed for a couple weeks now, and still no problems.

Cannot Defeat Factory Parts
If you can find this part; buy it. The Ford dealership has claimed that this part has been discontinued. The only other option (As far as 90s F-Series Trucks w/460 are concerned) at pretty much every major auto parts chain will be the Four Seasons Housing which does not work. The Four Seasons housing will rust, the caps leak unless coated with silicone, and the outlet is not finely machined like the OEM housing, so you will have trouble with leaks, and the hose staying on. This thermostat housing; works every time just like the engineers intended. You cannot beat factory parts. As I said above if you can find it; buy it. I completely recommend it if your truck requires it.
