Broadway 300MM Wide Convex Interior Clip On Rear View Clear Mirror Universal 1

I really like this mirror

I first ran across this mirror in a truck I borrowed. I was so impressed on how wide a view I had behind me. It was so wide I could see my own reflection in it and my own head was blocking my view to traffic behind me. The view to the other side was totally amazing. I began to keep track of how far other vehicles could come before I began to see them in my peripheral vision. I saw cars in the mirror right up to the moment of them coming into view in my side vision. I really enjoyed the mirror and decided I was going to get one. There is one small problem for me with the mirror but the mirror is so good I am just working with it. When I shift my vision from the road ahead to the mirror I have a problem with visually focusing on the view behind me. It takes a few moments for my eyes to refocus. I do not know if that is just my vision or an effect of the convex curve of the mirror. It is the convex shape of the mirror that gives you such wide view behind. The mirror comes in blue and clear. I personally preferred the clear. The truck I borrowed had blue. I ordered the clear. Both mirrors work great. It just is up to you to decide if you want a blue tint to your view of things behind you. I am sure there is a reason for the blue. I don't know what it is. I may buy another when my wife has a chance to drive my vehicle with the mirror. She just has not tried it yet. I have mine in a 97 Ford f150 supercab. my regular mirror has a very narrow view and I never did like it. Way to many blind spots. It was tunnel vision to the extreme using the stock mirror. The Broadway mirror changed that immediately. Despite the issue of having to have my eyes refocus quickly I love this mirror. I will buy another one if I needed to and I do recommend it to you.

Perfect

I read where a lot of people tried to use a lower amp model for a two way radio. I made sure I got one with plenty of reserve power. My Uniden 980SSB takes less than the full output of this power supply so I do not have any issues at all. The voltage is fully regulated so I never have to worry about voltage drops. I like this unit and recommend it to you.
