Amazing Telephoto Lens for the Money

After reading some really positive reviews of this lens, I decided it was well worth the $150(ish) to give it a try. I already have a Sigma 70-300mm that performed much better than Canon's kit telephoto, but it still wasn't amazing. The promise of image stabilization sealed the deal. I've since put the lens through its paces, snapping events, portraits, and some wildlife, and I'm incredibly happy. Totally worth the investment. Autofocus is pretty snappy and relatively quiet, zoom action is smooth, images are sharp, and the image stabilization is a godsend for handheld shooting. I'm sure it's not as amazing as an L-series telephoto, but for a hobbyist like me, it's an incredible deal.

Does the Job

Exactly what I expected! Looks good, seems relatively durable, and it'll protect my phone enough if I accidentally drop it on the floor. There's only enough room for about two cards in the wallet, but that's all I need.
