Quick delivery, exactly as described.
Lithium batteries are difficult to rate accurately until they've been used at least a few times and if my original Canon battery is any measure, it still holds a full charge and delivers power as expected after 4 years. Previous to this purchase, the non-Canon batteries I purchased to supplement my original battery were cheaper but almost immediately began to go from fully charged to empty without much warning. Eventually, the battery itself broke down internally, bulging and wouldn't even fit into the camera.
The battery I purchased here is an original battery and as such I would expect it to last similarly to the battery that came with the camera but as they say, time will tell. So far, so good!

A rare, clearly written book that explains so much of the mystifying political behavior we are witnessing
I cannot be more informative or clear than Ms. Kendzior. If you want to understand much of our current politics, Sarah Kendzior will open your eyes.

The challenges of designing and building the world's most recognizable jet airliner
This book is not new - it was released in 2006 and it may seem like a lifetime since then, especially when one talks about jet airliner technology, but this book has a special place in history.
While the 747 has historically been the most recognizable airliner to the masses, given that it was "The First" jumbo jet is already a fully compelling story. It becomes moreso when you realize that Boeing didn't recognize the importance of the project until later in its development and nearly went broke trying to complete the project!
Fortunately, Joe Sutter did understand its importance and deserves credit for not only spear-heading the design of one of the most significant aircraft of our time, but also authored a fantastic memoir so that we can be reminded of the challenges that are encountered with the undertaking of such an enormous project.
If you are one of those folks who are amazed everytime one of these 400-ton beasts gracefully soars over your head, you will also be entertained by how it came to be and how it has shaped our world.
