Good buy, especially if you price a new one.
Bought this after being stopped by a Florida HP Trooper. I was doing 74 in a 55, got a warning but didn't want to have that roadside experience again. My first radar detector. Works as advertised. Very sensitive, and offers plenty of time to slow down if you are even halfway responsive. Best to leave it in automatic mode. Volume is adequate if turned up to max setting, could be a little louder to compensate for loud music or raucus talking in the car. Seems to be very reliable. Only quirk I've noticed is the laser alert sounds when you are passing a NOAA Weather radar site, probably on the same frequency as a laser. Scary the first time that happens, but knowing what to expect when you drive by the big radar softens the blow each time you drive by that big ball.
