Mel Doing it Well
Have been a Mel Gibson fan for decades, and watched this at initial release. I really wanted to see it again after enough time had passed that I forgot the finer details.
It is still a very engaging movie, and my admiration for the acting of the principal characters is undiminished.

Great Sparkly Lip Gloss
I bought this item, which is five really, because the gloss is tacky enough to resist feathering for longer than others, and I love the colours, and the sparkly glittery look.

The Mod Squad is Still Solid
I haven't watched The Mod Squad since it first aired in Australia in probably 1970 or so. I bought the set and settled in for a trip down memory lane, and I am enjoying it immensely. The TV world was a softer place back then.
I know that the show was groundbreaking for its three young leads, and the subject matter they dealt with, and indeed I see the forerunner of many subsequent TV shows' plotlines. When I was about six or seven, it seemed adult and heavy, but today it is simply entertaining, although so often the subject matter is still current fifty years later.
I've had a small issue with getting my DVD player to play some of the discs, but that might be because of the player, not necessarily the discs. Nonetheless, I've skipped only about four episodes from series one,and look forward to seeing them all in due course.
And, of course, it still doesn't hurt that they are such attractive actors, with Michael Cole totally gorgeous in the day. Sad to think that he's the only cast member still with us.
