- *****- Bewertung vom Käufer.Letztes JahrBestätigter KaufWhat a fantastic seller Andrew is, he wasn't happy with certain technical things with the record player, so redone a few things to improve it. I'm not technical, so wouldn't have known , so I appreciate his honesty, and dedication. The record player cannot be faulted, it's a beauty, with authentic sounds, and plays very smoothly. Excellent service and seller, above and beyond. Highly recommended Many thanks

Great little amp
Although quite old, this amp is so well made and designed that it still punches above it's weight. Called 'the poor man's Naim' I bought it to control the bass in my RTL3 speakers. I replaced the fuses and treated the switches etc. to some Deoxit and it sounds like new.

Good upgrade for a vintage record player
Many record players made in the 50s and 60s were fitted with mono cartridges. Because of their design they will ruin stereo records. The BSR 11 and 12 cartridges not only play stereo records but give excellent sound production on these older machines - but we are not talking high -end audio here! The 'H' designation gives 170mv as opposed to the 'M' which has 100mv output. That is not as high as some of the crystal cartridges they replace but more than enough to power the typical 'push-pull' valve amps of the era. An excellent upgrade to bring these venerable machines into the 21st century.
