Take note of the item description
Need to be sure what you are buying. This is a router, which splits the internet connection in various directions, but NOT a modem which connects to the outside world via the phone connection.You will need another unit to do that but this can be added to this to split the signal to various devices. Comes with an instruction book which explains this and how to connect everything together.

No installation guide provided
Would have been useful to receive the item with installation instructions instead of a quotation for double glazed windows which the item was wrapped in. With no alternative available it makes this item redundant.
