Gerald Scarfe “Comments” On The Character Designs
Small book, with appealing, little text; I presume it’s aimed at younger ages, but it’s a must-have for any “Hercules” collector. Its incredible illustrator, Gerald Scarfe, was the production designer for the movie. So seeing his amazing illustrations of most of the characters here, is like seeing him comment on their final design after the animators brought his ideas and style to life. He also literally commented on this very topic in the last page of the book, nice hidden gem.
