Great device by a reliable company
We upgraded to this device from a 15 year old Garmin Nuvi, and it's definitely an improvement in terms of features. For instance, it gives you a choice of routes, and you can even easily edit a route to go exactly where you want. The features are user-friendly and easy to learn. The only drawback is one that all Garmin devices have, which is the maps not always being accurate. An example: we put in a restaurant destination (in a strip mall) and our new device didn't know the correct place to turn into the parking area; it wanted to take us up the street a bit and then make a U-turn. They do provide free map updates a couple of times a year, so sometimes these types of errors get fixed. Overall, very pleased with our new device. And it says a lot that our 15 year old device is still working (just didn't have all the features that the new one has).
