Might be OK for very low power devices like calculators, but not some other equipment.

Using these in a digital measuring gauge, but the display fades out after a couple of minutes, swap them for two more and the same happens, then the original pair seem OK for a short while. These report the correct voltage on a meter but don't seem able to power the LCD on my device. Maxell packaging states 'lithium battery for calculator' so I suspect that these have a more limited current delivery than the rudely expensive pair of branded 2032s I just picked up from the supermarket that keep the display on my device still bright and visible after 20 minutes. BBE 12/2028 which is a bit strange as the supermarket packs from all brands vary from 2021, 2025 & 2026

May need adapting to fit your grinder

These are probably oversized for the standard small bench grinder but the hex shaft can be cut down to make it fit. The thread fit both of my grinders although rather loose, but the hex shaft was too long for the motor shaft so I cut about 20mm off. About two thirds of the hex is bored oversized with the last third threaded to enable it to fit over the motor shaft, unfortunately it's not a snug fit on mine so only the rather loose thread is in contact and the spiral tip doesn't sit quite centered when spinning on either grinder.
