Logic Board Failure
3 von 3 finden das hilfreich After only 18 months use, only at home and even not hardworking! No dusty environment none smoking… it just won’t starting up! Apple genius bar diagnoses logic board damaged and it’s not repairable so need to be replaced. One year manufacturer warranty is finished and as it’s not bought directly from apple the repair cost is on customer! Which is about £800.
So a £2.300£ MacBook doesn’t work even for 2 years! Really disappointing…
I got it on Jul 2020, it was the second latest model and based on reviews one of the best machines in the market! But my own experience is totally the opposite!
I researched from some Mac repair specialists and they say it’s not even a rare issue with this model, so it’s common and Apple has not confirmed that as a manufacture issue yet!
So just “DON’T BUY IT!”
