Excellent repair part
This is an excellent replacement for the original Renault heater resistor pack in non-climate control models of the Scénic II and Grand Scénic. It appears to be of good quality and is re-engineered to prevent the recurrence of the original problems caused by overheating. It took me a while to fit, requiring removal of the instrument panel and surround, the radio and dashboard centre panel, and the glovebox. I used solder and heatshrink tubing to fit the new plug to ensure good connections - the new wiring doesn't match the colours used in the original loom, so make sure to do them one at a time so you can match them up with the positions in the plug. The upshot of all this is that my heater fan now works on all four settings, whereas before it only worked on settings 1 and 3, so I'm very happy.
