The tube of choice for your Hallicrafters S40
Replace your 6SA7 mixer oscillator, with this one. Better all band stability, and better Band 4 sensitivity. Some say better sensitivity on all bands. Try it, you might like it!

These may be the best overall blanks you can buy-
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich The XLII is a dynamite blank tape. When I was in college, this was the formulation I used. Less expensive than metal, far better than standard bias. Almost like a CD if you use Dolby NR and set the recording level right. Highly recommended.

Words cannot describe how great this stylus sounds. It's the perfect match for your Stanton L737 cartridge. Make sure you add one gram of counterweight force to compensate for the brush.
