Simple, reliable, waterproof
I mounted this on a wall in the back garden. I drilled a hole through the house wall to get the electricity to it. It works well for water feature and Christmas lights, I fed it from an existing socket through an indoor fused isolation switch, drilling the hole through the wall was the hardest part, some basic electrical skills required to make sure it is installed safely. No moisture ingress experienced.

Sensible water proof connection
Fits many sizes of cables, I fitted this to a thin 2 wire cable and it sealed Ok. You do need some basic electrical skills to fit this connection, soldering skills are essential, however its easy if you are confident with a soldering iron.

Wrong spec for my door
Be careful what you buy, this was not an exact fit for the latch it was replacing, it meant I had to get my hammer and chisel out and mix the old plate with the new latch.
