One of the best television series ever made.
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich I first watched this Tv series when i was 10 years old. Each episode is a mini masterpeice of acting and writing. Keith Michell is the only man to ever really capture the essence of Henry VIII. By todays standards the stagey video tape production values and mainly studio bound sets might come across as a little cheep and slow moving but to those who remember it. The Six Wives Of Henry VIII is like i fine wine that gets better with every taste.

A real trip back to my TV past.
I’m 38 years young . But watching Arm Chair Thriller (Quiet as a Nun) took me back to the 1978 when it was first shown on Thames television.
I was 7 years old and it scared the crap out of me. In fact I could watch all of it back then. Faceless Ghost Nuns stalking an all girls convent will do that to a 7 year old.
Quiet as a Nun was featured in channel 4 100 scariest moments.
Unfortunately it hasn’t aged well 70's fashions? , plus to a 38 year old it isn’t really very scary at all.
But, what you do get is a very fine thriller that is well acted and well made. Plus you may see a couple of now familiar faces in the cast.
