Essential read for lovers of Hancock's humour
Essential reading for fans of the comedy genius that is Hancock. Be prepared to have some myths dispelled and as always, a view behind the scenes can spoil the image of a hero. Great read!

Gritty and real.
The compelling true story of Irish rebellion and the rescue from captivity from one of Australia's most notorious 19th century prisons. Well written and dark in content. An excellent companion read to Peter FitzSimon's recent The Catalpa Rescue. This book recalls what life was like at the time and of the tyranny and oppression that once pervaded the Emerald Isle. A dark chapter in the history of Anglo-Irish relations, told against a very unusual backdrop across 2 hemispheres and continents across the globe. A thoroughly enjoying and absorbing read.
