Adequate, but barely

On my 26" frame bike it works, but barely. It's at the farthest extension, but the bike is still leaning over farther than I would like. In addition, it does not feel very strong.

Quality product, lots of life left in it

I prefer to buy used quality over new, even if cheaper, lesser goods. This particular ratchet was for convenience, rather than necessity, so I couldn't justify simply buying a top-of-the line new unit. So far this unit has been everything I hoped for.
