THE ITEM WAS EXACTLY AS DESCRIBED . . . AND DELIVERY WAS SUPER-QUICK. NO COMPLAINTS!

Perfect . . . save for the knob on the lid!

A proud owner here of several Staub "Cocottes" in different sizes and colors. :-) The pots are very sturdy/heavy, beautifully made (the colors are luscious!); they're great at holding heat . . . and have an interior finish that - unlike the "other" famous maker of enameled cast iron cookware - is genuinely stain-resistant. So why the four (out-of-five) stars rating? Given the weight of the lids, the stainless steel knob is simply too SMALL - and does not fit the hand as well as (yes) the aforementioned "other" enameled cast iron maker's knobs. (We use at least one of our Staub pots on a nightly basis . . . and are always cautious when removing the lid, being sure to use a pot holder for a firmer grip.One false move and it will land on the floor!) Don't let the above dissuade you from making a purchase, but - as per the title line - I do wish they'd put a larger knob on the lid!

FOR SERIOUS PATCHOULI LOVERS!

If you're happy with the "hippie-shop" patch that you purchased for a few dollars . . . read on. On the other hand, if you're like me and have searched high and low for a QUALITY patchouli fragrance, "Patchouli Indonesiano" eau de parfum is the answer to your dreams! :-) It goes on "dirty" . . . but mellows beautifully (and lasts forever). Far from cheap . . . but given the above, worth every penny to the SERIOUS patchouli lover.
