Dewalt 40v chainsaw chain tensioner. It works.. read my notes regarding the pinon gear if you think it won't fit.
It is installed and seems to work. It is not the same product I removed. (Maybe better?). The shaft is slightly larger in diameter, and a little shorter in length. I pulled the rack and pinion gear partly down the shaft in order to fit the assembly into the original location. There seems to be no need for the "C" locking ring on the new shaft as there is a milled ring on the shaft. The new milled ring is thicker than the "C" ring by about 1.5mm which is how much I pulled the rack and pinion gear down the shaft to fit. Other than that, it seems to be a bit heavier duty and since my original broke at the "C" ring slot, this may be the upgraded model?
