Excellent camera especially combined with another nikon FX camera
The F5 has to share the lenses I´ve got with my D700, and that is a wery practical issue. I´m wery happy with this combined equipment. The main difference between the two cameras is that the film from the F5 has to be developed and scanned before I can enjoy the result. I use the F5 mostly for black-and-white exposures.
A handbook is a must!

Nikon 28-70mm f/2.8 D-AF-S AF Lens
For a midrange zoom it´s sharp as a knife. In landscape photos it´s sharp from
my toenails to infinity. And considering the price (used),I find it a far better bargain than the 24-70mm Nikkor. It is a heavy lens, but being a young man below 80, that does not matter mutch. I like to take pictures by natural light,so the fast 2.8 stop gives me more oportunities for good photos under differcult light conditions. I also love to picture wild flowers at close range, but I´l have to wait for that until spring, I guess.
All thing considered I´m wery happy with my new lens.

Nikon AF-S Nikkor 17-35mm f/2.8 ED-IF lens
I have tried it out for some days, and I simply love the amazing quality of the images.I have taken some city night shots at f/2.8 using tripod, creating dynamic perspectives with great deapth of field. And the A4 copies are knife-sharp to the very edge.Parhaps a little bit fussy in the corners but that´s no big deal in the overall quality. I also have an old 18-35mm that is good too, but when it comes to quality, and it allways does,I do´nt mind the extra weight of the 17-35 mm leaving the 18-35mm back home. After all I´m not 80 yet.
I also love the well functioning used marked of eBay making it possible to get lens like this .
