Another Compelling Mickey Book
If you are at all intrigued with the subject of the history and development of World Music, (and I don't mean groovy hipster singer-songwriter reggae-tinged, but the Real Thing..) Mickey scores again with another fascinating read. His passion is palpable and contagious. Not that the subject is dry by any means, but (like his other books) the essays are flowing and conversational and the layout and use of archival photos is creative and top notch.
