It covers all the key issues regarding Jazz Improv with a Keyboard, or Monophonic (winds/brass) instrument. And, for the guitarist is an invaluable guide to use along with "The Guitar Grimoire: Scales & Modes". It covers well Jazz Idioms such as standard phrasings and chord progressions. It provides practice material for which modes to play with which chord progressions.
