Move over Stephen Hawking! David Lewis will truly bend your mind.
David Lewis died quite young of diabetes, which is tragic because what he left us is clearly only the beginning. He began his exploration of multiple worlds in his early (and equally essential) book "Counterfactuals," and continues it here.

This is the best narrative feature film in cinema history
The direction, the performances, the script, the cinematography, the concept . . . All are at the very top of what is possible in the cinema. Although this film is not as widely known as many other Ingmar Bergman films, it should be.
