A very heartwarming movie, well worth watching!
A very heartwarming movie. A older man and his sister wish to borrow an orphan boy for a few weeks to help out with the farm. Due to a misunderstanding or lack of a boy, they send a young orphan girl. She was mistreated at the orphanage and was thrilled about the idea of finding a real home where she is loved and accepted. On the way to their home from the train station, she talks the leg off of the brother and totally delights him with her company. When the sister says she must go back to the orphanage, the brother talks her into letting her stay a day or so. She ends up winning the heart of the sister and other people also. Martin Sheen does an excellent job of portraying the brother. All of the other actresses and actors do a great job in their roles also.

I was so impressed with the story and with the actress!
Jaclyn Smith, in my opinion, was perfect for the part. She was so convincing in her role as Florence Nightingale. The story held my interest every moment. There was not a dull moment in the whole story.
It's a powerful story of a faith-filled woman, who changed the future of nursing.

It reveals all of the ways we can, and need to, practice silence in order to achieve what it promises.
It was everything I hoped it would be -- and more! I highly recommend it to anyone who is seeking to deepen their relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ.
