A Civil War Within A Revolution Within the Southern Colonies
This book is not for the casual reader on the Revolutionary War, but rather for one looking to learn details about the British Southern Campaign and the Rebel (Whig, "Patriot") ultimately successful counter. It has a lot of detail about families, such as the Brandons (Scot-Irish), & thus a source of genealogical data; a lot about the conflict between the Rebels and the Loyalists, a civil war within a revolution, and the role of the Indians. It has an index and the "Endnotes" serve as a good bibliography.

THE definative story of "Hoosier Hysteria"
If you are a native of Indiana--a Hoosier--this film must be your favorite. I grew up in the 1950's and can testify that it captures both the nature of the State and its hysteria when it came to basketball perfectly. The beautiful Indiana countryside is captured in this film. The tension that used to come to a boiling point over the winter in this State and expressed itself in the basketball games leading to the State Championship game is developed accurately in this telling of our story. For the Hoosiers of this day and age, it is a gift from previous generations when we had a single tournament system, making a miracle possible. Now that is ruined by multiple levels that result in lots of awards worth much less to this State.
