Nothing Heavy...

This volume isn't about weighty or hefty topics, instead it is a fun read about the day-to-day life of a great man in his older years. The book is a diary where the reader follows Tony Benn through his daily travails and we are treated to his reactions to both life's mundane tasks and the largest of world events. "Blaze" is a great sneak peek at the behind the scenes thoughts of one of the world's great treasures. This book is made all the more poignant by Mr. Benn's recent passing. A fast read, a must for true Tony Benn fans.

Fantastic Volume...Chock full of History

A great chronology and history of the special relationship and bond between the Kennedy and Churchill families dating from old Joe Kennedy and Winston, to their offspring Randolph, Jack and Bobby. The book was filled with the kind of insider mortar that makes you feel like you're in the room. This long volume starts with the old Lions and ends on an emotional note as tragedy catches up to the next generation. A story of greatness and great possibility. I am a student of history, Churchill and the Kennedys and nonetheless, I learned a lot. A great read.
