The design is just great.
Its just like a stand should be. The design makes set up so fast you will beat the rest of the band setting up. I have used it for keyboards for a long time, but I needed one for my new DJ setup. Because this one came with the longer arms my Numark NS7 III worked really well on top of it. I also bought a Ultimate Support HyperMount QR and that screwed right into the top of this PRO version. It makes everything easy to reach and play. I set mine up so I can stand rather than sit behind it, but, the height is very adjustable on both tiers. Let me just say after having a "Cage" setup which took up half the stage years ago, I got the first one of these and it not only gave me and everyone else more room, it cut my setup time from 30 minutes (or more) to less than 10 minutes. Keep it in the bag for transporting in the back seat of my small Jeep Liberty, take it out the bag at the gig, press the buttons on the legs and extend them, sit it up place the holders on the stand and DONE! not even 1 minute! and I spend a lot more of my time on the keyboard, DJ controller, and Laptop.....
