The Jesus Dynasty
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich Wow...I can't say enough positive things about this book. It is a real eye-opener. The author, James Tabor, relates the events in an understandable, completely historical timeline. Through this author, the reader is able to sense the desert heat, to feel the thrill of discovery and to understand the people and the times of Jesus. I borrowed this book from a friend and was so enamored with the quality of the writing and with the subject that I bought a copy for myself. It is a book that I want to keep in my own personal library. I plan to purchase copies for 8 friends for holiday gifts. Excellent book! well written! Tabor presents the historical truths and then he lets the reader make their own logical decisions in relation to religious belief. This book gives the reader an honest look at the Christian religion... warts and all. This book should be mandatory for all college and highschool religion courses. Finally, a believable approach to religion.

2 von 2 finden das hilfreich Wow! Deep, interesting, a lifetime of information. Information that you have to savor and think about. Not a book to dash through. This should be required reading for all Psychology majors. It could be a course in itself.

Delicious, love the characters especially Lula, Stephanie and Ranger.
During this pandemic I have bought all the Stephanie Plum series that I didn't own and then read and re-read them in order 1-27. Love them all.
