Great to get to know writers
My teen daughter wanted to sample different writers to see who she likes. This book was a great idea and saved me from having to buy several books before she knew which writers she prefers.
She's happy with the purchase, so I am too!

busy print, overall ok
The print is more busy than I thought it would be. The material is very thin and the waist line is wide and not particularly comfortable. That said, it's "ok". I wear a tummy tucker with it so the uncomfortable waistline isn't too much bother. The length is too long but that could be easily remedied with an iron on hem.
It would be suitable for hot weather when you want to wear pants without overheating.

Beware of broken threads
When I received this sweater I was super disappointed to discover it had a few frayed and broken threads. To fix them I tied them together and trimmed the excess. It's still not "perfect" but it's not at all noticeable.
This is my favorite sweater, EVER. It's very heavy and feels like I'm wearing a blanket my grandmother knitted. I loved it so much I bought a second one in a different color for my sister.
You have to be careful to avoid catching a thread on something, but it's worth it. It's super warm, too, and looks lovely. The collar is cozy.
I would suggest not wearing it too often, as every time you wash it you'll have to worry about the quality of the threads. The more you wash, the more you'll have "hairy threads" etc.
