Charger good. Supplied cable and 3 pin plug not so good.
The charger I received is identical in every way to my original charger so I am sure it is a genuine Canon product.
It charges the batteries OK and operates exactly as my original charger does.
But, as someone else has indicated, the supplied power cable's 3 pin plug is not up to UK standard.
The one I received was like nothing I've seen for sale in the UK. The plug is fully sealed and very small. So small in fact that there didn't appear to be space for a fuse to fit inside
I cut the plug apart to have a look inside and this confirmed to me that the plug does not have a fuse inside. Not good!!
Consequently, I will not be using the cable supplied, I will be using a genuine UK one.
However, if the charger continues to work ok then it is still good value for money at a fraction of the price of a new one.
But beware of using the provided 3 pin plug if it's like the one I received.
