Excellent value graphics card
2 von 2 finden das hilfreich This EVGA GTX 970 is an excellent value for graphics cards. I have also read that the 970 is the best selling 900 series card now. Mine had noticeable coil whine when I first tested it. Two weeks later and the coil whine is pretty much gone. That's something to note with new 970s, it's basically just a break-in period for it. The graphics quality is awesome. This card easily runs at 1440p with games like Assassin's Creed Syndicate with ultra settings maintaining a minimum of 50 fps. If you're looking for 4k gaming this card isn't the best for that unless you buy two and run it in SLI.

If you don't need high speed thunderbolt or usb 3, this is a great computer
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich I have customized this with a firmware upgrade and processor upgrade. It is essentially a 6 core 2010 Mac Pro now. After running both Geekbench tests as well as real world 4k video rendering, I've found this computer to perform the same as the 2013 quad core Mac Pro which I have run through the same tests. This is much more customizable than a current 2013 Mac Pro however it does not have USB 3 built in or Thunderbolt. Also the 2013 model runs much quieter and is easier to take with you. Otherwise the performance of this computer and internal expandability with 4 drive bays, PCIe slots and 2 optical drive bays, can't be matched in any current Mac.
