Well Made, Looks Great

I ordered the complete system for my 2014 Honda CRF-250L. I bought this system because it was claimed to be one of the quieter after-matket mufflers, the price was good, it was a handsome system and it allowed me to reinstall the stock side cover. It was all of these things for me and I like it very much but there was two negatives with it. One was the lack of clear installation instructions for the side cover mounting hardware. I had to use youTube videos to figure that part out. The other negative is no spark arrestor. After buying this system I found out that the USFS will not honor this muffler even if I install my own spark arrestor (which is what I was planning to do). The lack of clear instructions is no big deal but the spark arrestor issue is a concern. That's why 4 stars rather than 5.

I ordered this Clymer Manual as well as a Haynes manual. The Clymer manual is much, much better. The thing is huge and full of great information.

The Good and Bad

I bought the Moose Racing rear brake master cylinder guard for my Honda CRF250L mainly because it was the only one that I could find for my bike. The bad: crude styling, it's a bit pricey, the bolts are rather meager and there's a lot of slop between the bolts, spacers and the guard itself. The good: it mounted easily and seems rugged enough and it does a good job of covering the rear brake master cylinder. I'd probably buy it again but it sure would be nice to have other choices.
