Absolutely excellent! So good that I’m buying another!
I should say that I have a lot of experience with self assembly furniture but, after studying the plans and working out what bits went where, I found this really easy to put together and it took me less than thirty minutes in total. It all tightens up with the use of an Allen key and it is wise to leave them a little loose until you are sure that everything is in place but, once tightened, the whole chair is absolutely rock solid. I have seen another review that says the chair was unstable and dangerous but, honestly, my finished chair is so sturdy that I reckon an elephant could stand on it. It looks great and works perfectly - and the price is superb. I have wanted a metamorphic library chair for years but they typically cost well over £150, with many costing upwards of £250 - so this is an absolute bargain. I am really delighted by it, so much so that I am going to buy another as a present for a member of my family.
