Defintely worth the money if you need to save money and can sacrifice blazing IOPs.
I would definitely recommend these drives if you want some enterprise features that lean towards data integrity and reliability. They are not the fastest SATAII SSDs that you can purchase but they are reliable. Normally I use Crucial SSDs that offer many of the same features as these disks, but because of the age of these Intel disks, you can find these Intel disks cheaper than what Crucial is offering. Why pay more right.
I am using these in a Raspberry Pi 4 NAS, using the Radxa Quad SATA Hat. These disks are low power (~5.0W at full tilt, less than 1W at idle) and are 800GB units. I have them in a RAID5 and the performance is great even though RAID5 has a write performance penalty because of the mirroring.
