An excellent book to read or just to glance through from time to time
if you are interested in coastal ferries and in particular those of MacBrayne this is a wonderful book, full of interesting detail about the history of the company and well illustrated with views of their boats. This book provides a nostalgic reminder of my holidays on the west coast of Scotland.

Excellent map guide for San Francisco
an outstanding street map guide with comprehensive details of local transport. As good a map as the official Muni transit map. You won't get lost with this map.

General interest book on trams
This book is sort of caters both for those with a general interest in Melbourne trams whilst containing some detail such as scale drawings of trams but the photographic coverage is a little short on what the dedicated tram enthusiast would expect.
