Very pleasantly impressed with the quality of this lens.
3 von 3 finden das hilfreich Very sharp lens. Very ittle vignetting even at f/2.8. I have been very impressed with the performance of this lens. The specs speak for themselves but where this lens really shines is in real-world photography situations. Definitely worth the investment, especially when looking at the cost of the competition.

Audiophile In-Ear Monitors
Shure has hit a homerun with the SE846. They are the best noise isolating, high quality in-ear monitors I have used. They do not add any coloration to the music in my opinion, but remove layers of compression and grunge that lesser in-ear monitors don't. The bass is solid when there on the recording and the midrange and highs are crystal clear. Voices have directness and realism to them that seem to place the performers right there with you. Image location and solidity are rock solid, but don't stand out as to take away from the "wholeness" and musical flow of the performance. I guess what impresses me most is the musicality of the Shure SE846: they don't exaggerate one area of the spectrum. Everything is as it should be, as it was during the original recording. To me, the SE846's just disappear and let the music through as it was recorded. They are not going to gloss over a bad performance or recording, but they aren't going to add anything that should not be there to a great performance or recording as well. Another thing about the SE846's is that they are very efficient so watch the volume when you first connect them to your headphone amplifier.
Highly recommended and they are easy on the eyes too. I have the clear housings and I love the ability to see all of the components inside that make up these terrific in-ear monitors.
Another plus is that you can tailor the sound to match the characteristics of your system. My headphone amp is a little on the bright side and I was able to change out the plug to warm the sound up without changing the characteristic sound of the music.

Very happy with the price to performance ratio.
2 von 2 finden das hilfreich I bought this lens because I had been looking at the Nikkor 85mm f/1.4g and couldn't afford it at this time. I really like the sharpness, creamy bokeh, and ease of use of this lens. The manual focus does take some getting used to but once you've gotten the hang of it, it's really simple and quick. I use this lens for pretty much everything from landscape to portraits and have been very impressed. Highly recommended and I sure would buy it again if I were looking for a fast 85mm lens.
