Good cheap board suitable for making a build server
Bought this and 2x Xeon 6 core cpu's to make a build server, for compiling open source code on. There was some thermal paste from the previous owner wedged between two cpu pins which initially caused problems. After (carefully) removing that though, the board has been faultless.
Compiling now goes a lot faster than on the older quad core box.
As an interesting data point, this motherboard works well as a Hackintosh, though that's not the OS that's on it now for compiling things.
