Even if you don't believe in unicorns - you will be enchanted!
I purchased this book (and all of the others in the series) in a search for more challenging literature for my bright child, who has trouble finding reading material sophisticated enough to keep up with her reading skill, but who still needs age appropriate storylines. She was riveted from the first page (she LOVES unicorns).
This book is the first in a series of 4, of a fantasy for children that is every bit as intricate and exciting as Lord of The Rings. My 7yr. old literally devoured these books. Coville writes well and even 'scary' characters, in context of the story did not frighten my child, who tends toward an active imagination.

Good cuff and monitor, but stethoscope ...not so much
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich Nice kit, overall. Cuff is sturdy and monitor seems accurate. Only problem is that the stethoscope won't open very wide and will pinch your brains out! My head is fairly small for an adult, and I find the pinch painful. Fits my 10 year old daughter much better.

Great solution to replace a broken Bodum beaker
At first, we thought it was too large,and we were worried about breaking it by forcing it, but with gentle even pressure, we found that it did slide down into our Bodum frame. It has proven trouble free.
