Low price 2 way radio that will work on the amateur uhf and vhf bands.
The radio works fine, however it is frustratingly difficult to program without the programming cable.
The instruction manual is not very clear and does not really give good instructions on programming.
It is worth the low price once you understand the limitations

Would make a different choice it I had done more research
This unit uses a very expensive battery that i was unaware of at purchase. The unit was used andwas also expensive. Had not planned on another expense just to get it usable. Too bad it doesn’t just use cheap AA batteries as I thought it would.
