Not recommended
The music box does not work properly, and it is loose in the jewelry box. I turned the key to wind it and it snapped back and pinched my fingers. I can't imagine giving this to a child. A total let down. I expected much more from Lenox.
It will look pretty on a shelf but has zero functionality as a music box/dancing ballarina. I am not sure how long it will look pretty. If the outside is as bad as the inside, it won't be long, I'm sure.
