Teaching Your Classroom with Heart
Overall good advice for new or practiced teachers. Some scenarios seem unrealistic, but still a general good read.

Rather Confusingly Written
The verbiage seemed designed to impress, rather than inform. Needless to say, that is not what you want when reading a textbook. Though no textbook is written by one person, there is usually enough collaboration that the chapters have similar voices. That is not the case here.

Movie or Book
If you loved the movie, you'll love the book. Robert C O'Brien writes a compelling story. You'll learn more about Mrs. Frisby and her family as well as the mysterious and frightening rats of NIMH.
