Smooth, Quiet, comfortable and accurate.
Very smooth and quiet in operation and accurate as well. Only disappointment is that I was hoping it had a trackball on the top, but it is simply a wheel!

Is it over yet?
I wanted to like this film. I saw a preview at the beginning of another DVD, which looked hilarious and on the strength of that, I bought the film. Basically, all the funny bits were included in the trailer! The lead characters were actually pretty likable, however this was more than offset by two un-cute kids, who weren't believable or likable. But even they looked good compared to the talking baseball figure stuck to the dashboard. This annoying device really ruined the film for me. Had it been my car, I would have thrown him out of the window in the first two minutes.
My teenage kids weren't impressed either, but younger ones might suspend their disbelief and enjoy the slapstick a bit more than I was able to.

Cheap, tidy unit for occasional use
The reason I bought this satnav was that I had given my previous one to our daughter. I am an occasional user, so I have never felt the need to go top of the range and want something at the bargain end of the market.
The good points are:
* Clear display
* all the accessories you need
* loud voice
* can be used as an MP3 player
* looked new - protective cover film still on screen.
On the minus side:
* The screen does not refresh as quickly as some.
* Maps out of date - but I expect that on a cheap unit.
* Every single set of instructions starts with "Perform a U-turn", before it settles down.
* "Follow the direction of the road" is another favorite instruction. Where else are you going to go?
* I was hoping that you could use the MP3 option whilst on a journey with the sat-nav cutting in with directions. Perhaps that was too optimistic but the fact that you actually need to change SD cards between a map one and an MP3 one means I am unlikely to use the player function.
* The on-off switch is a tiny toggle on the back of the device, only workable with the stylus provided.
* Sometimes takes a while to find a satellite.
The quirky instructions could be endearing or infuriating, depending on how much or a hurry you are in.
I would suggest that for work use, this is not going to cut the mustard, but for occasional leisure use, this will fit the bill nicely at a bargain price.
