Very informative
Although it's not a step by step guide to restoration & rebuilding, which wasn't expected, there is masses of really detailed information and photographs. From part/frame/engine numbers, carb/engine/ignition/electrical specifications and useful tips it is all printed in a large easy to read clear font.
Perhaps the only minor downside is the paperback format that precludes it's use in the garage.

Really good on stainless steel & polished aluminium
Bought this polish to sparkle up a motorcycle. It works really well on both stainless steel and polished aluminium giving a really deep lustre. A good bit of elbow grease is required mind which I was expecting especially on blackened (polished) aluminium which requires multiple applications. Also looks like it leaves a 'wax' coating for easy re-cleaning.
Doesn't work on rough cast engine parts which, again, I was expected as it gives an odd polished look and has no effect on oxidised/blackened areas.
Think of it as top quality solvol autosol.

Lovely fit but perhaps only minor protection
Although I've answered yes to the good protection I suspect it would only offer protection against minor bumps & spills. On the plus side it's a very good fit with no interference of the buttons & connectors and allows the phone's good aesthetics to be clearly seen.
