Sony DCR-DVD202E Camcorder
5 von 5 finden das hilfreich Though this DVD camcorer is a few years old it is well worth the purchase. it is both small but packed with good features. It uses the mini dvd disks and you are best to stick to the sony brand as its got some chip inside wich prefers the Sony disks to give best quality atc. also you would be best to buy one of the biger replacement batteries which give twice the charge and are very handy for keeping as a back up.
Image quality is good though you might have fun with low light conditions. Like everything there are drawbacks such as it not having a built in light. however there is a night vision setting thats not too bad as long as you are close range. Very Blair witch and the dogs eyes light up! ?works on infra red beam I think.
The screen is great and is touch sensitive so watch out not to get it damaged. The disks can be taken straaight out and played in most modern DVD players. it also goes into PC drive with no problem and I have been using it with Nero 9 software without any problems. Once your work is done you can format the mini DVD and off you go.
its small size makes it dead easy to carry around and I fitted mine into a standard camera case with strap for going on holiday. The optical zoom is great but the digital zoom gets a bit odd when you start taking shots at extreme distance. No problem there as its about 400x magnification so you are bound to get picture degradation and a bit of wobble.
The picture stabilisation on optical zoom is fantastic. Standard hand shake is almost gone with this and you really have to shake it about to get the auot focus upset.
For a handy sized DVD camcorder which is now available qutie cheap on Ebay etc it is well worht the money. Yes there are better models out there but you will pay lots for them. All in all I am very happy with this little Sony and hope to be able to use it for a long time to come. Look after it and it will give you good service and hours of footage for when you are old and crumbly and can't remember what the hell you were doing when you took the origional shots.

Boston Rocks.
Being a long time fan of good solid rock music I had been loking for a CD version for a long time of Boston's Third Stage Album. Tracked it down and bought it quickly. If you are into that big rock sound that Boston created then you will love this. From the first song "Amanda" throught to the end it is well worth the time and effort taken to locate the CD. Real guitar played by real musician. Stuff your current pop pulp created by some spotty oik on their computer and then pushed out on the web this is froma n age when music was music. Ok, so I am an old duffer but I know what I like and this album ticks all the boxes.
Buy it and enjoy at high volume. It will drive your teenage kids nuts!

Just the job

Ok, so it’s a bit plastic in construction but it’s not going to be dragged all over the country doing live gigs.
Perfect if you need a simple usb interface and don’t want to break the bank.
