High & consistent quality make it still worth the price
Gran Riserva is a notch above other Lavazza whole bean roasts. Consistently good crema and a more intense and complex flavor than other roasts. Like other Lavazza roasts, it is a dry bean that goes well in a superautomatic. Only downside is it’s getting quite pricey, but still decent value compared to other well-known Italian brands and the offerings of local roasters. Consistently good for a big brand-name product.
